Care for Nurses

In January 1955, the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung called two nurses of a hospital to his residence.

They felt overjoyed yet undeserved, because they had just done what they ought to do as a nurse. Earlier, Comrade Kim Il Sung had them tour the city of Pyongyang in the daytime and invited them to his residence in the evening.

Seeing them in embarrassment, he asked them whether they enjoyed the city tour that day. He then said that he was pleased to hear that the nurses who took much trouble attending to patients had a good time travelling around the city.

Proposing they had dinner together, he led them to the dining room. He told the nurses sitting on the opposite side to help themselves, placing dishes before them.

After dinner he watched a movie with them and acquainted himself with the problems in their lives.
