A Day Dedicated to Children

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Orphanage on International Children’s Day in 2014.

The orphans were quietly carrying out their planned schedule for the day including sports meeting.

The headmistress of the orphanage greeted him saying that she was very grateful to him for visiting the orphanage on the day. On receiving her greetings, he told her that he thought he must visit the orphanage on the holiday of the children.

That day looking round various rooms of the orphanage, he listened to the songs sung by the orphans in high voices and kindly asked them what they had played and what delicious foods they had eaten. Then he handed them the fruit yogurt he had brought with him.

He drove straws into yoghurt cups and gave one cup to each child.

While watching the children sipping yogurt with relish, he said that the faster children would grow in height and weight the more they ate, adding that as for the dinner they should feed them as planned on the holiday menu and tomorrow they should make balls of pheasant meat for the children.
