Natural Koryo Medicines

The Sonjin Chemist’s is producing a range of Koryo medicines by using natural medicinal materials.

The popular products of the chemist’s include the Ginkgo Leaf Arteriosclerosis Injection, Oleasco Dragee, Jujube Seed Insomnia Capsules, and Cnidium monnieri Skincare Gel.

The chemist’s learned that the leaves of ginkgo, known as a “living fossil,” are good for treating heart and cerebrovascular diseases, and intensified research into it.

As a result it extracted ginkgo leaf essence for injection which satisfies the international quality index of the standard ginkgo leaf, and made the aforesaid injection.

In addition, the Oleasco Dragee, Jujube Seed Insomnia Capsules, and Cnidium monnieri Skincare Gel, all of which are made by using bioactive substances of natural origin, are popular for their high efficacy with no side effects. 

O Myong Son, head of the chemist’s, said that its medicines were highly appreciated at the 24th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair.

The aforesaid products received a DPRK patent.
