Onpho Working People’s Holiday Camp

The Onpho Working People’s Holiday Camp in Kyongsong County, North Hamgyong Province was opened in February.

The wonderfully renovated holiday camp with a history of nearly 80 years is a comprehensive cultural recreation and treatment service centre which retains peculiar features and characteristics of the mountainous area and meets the requirements of modern architecture.

The camp has indoor and outdoor spas and facility for balneotherapy.

The shower bath is good for treating nervous exhaustion and neuropathy accompanied by hypotension.

There are ten-odd kinds of baths in the open-air hot spring site filled with the fragrance of pine trees, so that visitors can feel the emotions of different seasons at the same time.

The spa treatment facility offers various therapies like sand bath combined with spa bath, underwater traction treatment in bathtub for spinal disease, limbic bath treatment and inhalation treatment.

According to its service personnel, the highly alkaline hot spring is highly efficacious for chronic gastritis (hyperacidic), chronic enterocolitis, chronic bronchitis, neuralgia, gynecologic diseases, autonomic dysfunction and other diseases.
