Multi-functional Cerebral Electric-Magnetic Stimulator

Among the standouts at the exhibition of sci-tech achievements in different fields of the national economy-2025 is a multi-functional cerebral electric-magnetic stimulator.

It is a highly effective medical device for treating mental and physical diseases through electric and magnetic stimulation.

Its developer is Associate Professor Pak Thae Im, teacher of Faculty of Clinical Medicine No. 1 of Pyongyang University of Medical Sciences.

In collaboration with computer professionals, she pushed forward the development of application simultaneously. Not giving up in the face of repeated failures, she finally made a device capable of realizing four electric-magnetic stimuli, such as electrospasm induction, electroacupuncture, brain DC, and brain magnetism, all with one device.

It was highly appreciated at the 37th National Sci-Tech Festival held in 2024 and at the National Sci-Tech Presentation and Exhibition in the Field of Anti-epidemic and Public Health-2022. Now it is used in the education of students.
