Keeping the Spirit of Devoted Service for the People

One day in October 2016, when he visited the newly-built Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said with great pleasure that the construction of the Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the Okryu Children’s Hospital, the Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital in the Munsu area added perfection to the aspect of the area as a hospital village.  

He told the accompanying officials that as the Party ensured the general ophthalmic hospital was built with much care, the health workers and employees of the hospital should work hard with the spirit of devoted service for the people. To this end, he noted, the health workers should strive to improve their qualifications. 

He expressed his firm belief that the health workers, attendants and other employees of the hospital with the spirit of devotedly serving the people in mind would fulfil their responsibility and duty in giving full play to the advantages of the socialist healthcare system.
